A Thank You Worth Sharing

Recently, a customer walked into our office with a handwritten testimonial and a batch of homemade cookies. We were floored by both.

Most reviews tell you how a service went. Andy tells you the whole story: why he left his last pest control company, what made him call us, and why he’s stuck around. As we head into the season of giving thanks, we couldn’t think of a better way to show you what the Bug Zero difference really looks like.

In Andy’s Words

A few years back now, we were forced to let our old home pest control company go due to worsening behavior. Rude technicians, rude people answering the phone, just rudeness all around, and for what didn’t seem to be that great of a job. Even after they’d sprayed, pests remained a problem, one we were left to handle ourselves as the technicians would become furious and stamp about when they noticed we’d added to what they did instead of discussing options for us. The final straw came when one of their technicians covered some of our dog toys in copious amounts of spray, to the point the toys were dripping when we picked them up. A day later, we were searching for a new company, worried about what would happen with the next ones. Then we found Bug Zero, and we haven’t had to worry since. From the moment I spoke with someone on the phone, I was put at ease. She was kind, she was understanding, and she did something I wasn’t used to: asked us questions to better figure out the best plan of action for our home. The technician that came a week or so later further put our worries at ease. Not only was he a great dude, he knew what he was doing, and it showed in his actions and in his words. Since then, we’ve had a few different technicians, each one amazing. Heck, some of them seem like seeing old friends when they come over now. But it’s not just their amazing people skills and kindness that have made me a forever customer, it’s the work they do.

If you live in Missouri, you know brown recluse spiders are a way of life for us here, but it’s not one we really have to deal with now. Not only do we rarely see them, but if I report just a single one, they’re here making sure it’s just the one. I made a comment once just joking about how I’d only seen one in months, they were here not long after even though I hadn’t asked for it. That’s how serious they take what they do, just one is enough for them to swing into action. I really can’t stress what an amazing company Bug Zero is, nor how happy we are with their work. It might have been a bad experience with our previous exterminators, but considering no one got hurt, I’m almost glad it went so bad because it led to us being Bug Zero customers.

What the Bug Zero Difference Looks Like

Andy’s story hits on the things we care about most:

  • It starts with a conversation. Every home is different. We ask questions first so your plan fits your home, your family, and your pets.
  • Our technicians know their stuff. Experience shows in how we work and how we explain what we’re doing.
  • You’ll see familiar faces. Our team treats every visit like a visit with neighbors, because that’s what our customers are.
  • One pest is one too many. If you’re dealing with a brown recluse problem, your service includes warranty coverage. Just let us know, and our team will take care of it.

Thank You, Andy

To Andy and every customer who trusts us with their home: thank you. You’re the reason we do what we do.
