Bed Bugs Can Happen to Anyone

Their presence isn’t a reflection of the cleanliness of your home or how well you take care of bedding, furniture, or family. These are traveler pests who unfortunately don’t care who you are or what your home looks like. The good news is Bug Zero has a 100% effective, chemical-free bed bug removal treatment option that will get your home back to normal and bed-bug free in just one day.

Thermal Remediation® is not only the most effective treatment currently on the market, it’s environmentally friendly and eliminates all stages of bed bugs, from egg to adult.

Why Heat vs. Chemical

Previous strategies against bed bugs included a combination of chemical treatments, physical removal, and targeted heat, among others. However, there just isn’t a chemical treatment on the market today that is as effective at total elimination as heat, and anything other than 100% elimination is unacceptable when you’re dealing with something like bed bugs. Heat is the closest thing we have to a silver bullet.

Bug Zero sends our bed bug exterminators to Bed Bug University, national Bed Bug Summits, as well as other conferences and educational opportunities so we can always be on the cutting edge of bed bug treatment strategy and research.

The Heat Treatment Process

While heat will kill bed bugs, you can’t just turn up your home’s thermostat and hope for the best. Bug Zero’s bed bug exterminators are trained in the proper use of Thermal Remediation® equipment and understand the behavior and biology of bed bugs. Armed with these tools and expertise, you can count on our technicians to ensure not a single bed bug is left inside your home.

Stage One:

Increase Temperature

Using the Thermal Remediation® equipment and strategically placed high-velocity fans, technicians will gradually turn up the heat. This gradual rise in temperature does not trigger an escape response in the bed bugs, so there is no worry of the bugs migrating to a different room in the home.

Stage Two:

Bed Bugs Emerge

At around 100–115 degrees Fahrenheit, bed bugs will be stimulated to forage and feed, and they emerge from their hiding places. At 122 degrees, all stages of bed bug life will die instantly. Our technicians will raise the temperature a little higher, to 125 degrees, and hold it for at least 2 hours.

Stage Three:

Complete Elimination

Bed bug exterminators will move around the contents of the room to expose any last refuge areas, making sure every crack and crevice of the area reaches lethal temperature levels. This process ensures 100% elimination of bed bugs from egg to adult.

Protect Yourself While Traveling

One of the most common ways bed bugs hitch a ride into your home is attaching themselves to your personal items while traveling. Here are some tips you can use to protect yourself if you travel frequently.

Semi-Truck Cab Treatment

The unique construction of a semi-truck cab provides plenty of nooks and crannies for bed bugs to take up residence. Without a comfortable place to rest, it makes a tough job even harder. Bug Zero’s heat treatment will kill all stages of bed bug life. No more distractions from irritating bites or worry about new bugs hatching. Over-the-counter treatments only make problems worse with bed bugs, scattering them into deeper hideouts. Our high-velocity fans and wireless heat sensors ensure that temperatures reach lethal levels even in the hardest-to-reach spots. Your truck will be back to normal so you can get back to business.

Get in touch with us today to schedule a bed bug control service so you can get back to what’s really important.

Both our Southwest Missouri and Southeast Missouri locations are conveniently near interstate exits.

After following our preparation instructions, drop your truck off with us in the morning, enjoy some of what our cities have to offer, and come back to a bed-bug-free truck.

We can get your bed bug control problem taken care of and your truck back on the road in just under ten hours.

We understand that your truck is your livelihood and downtime can be costly.

Think you might have bed bugs?

You shouldn’t attempt to treat bed bugs on your own.

Over-the-counter products available at hardware stores or online, like bed bug “bomb” canisters, make the problem even worse. These products cause bed bugs to flee to other rooms, spreading the infestation throughout the house. If you suspect you have a bed bug problem, don’t wait and book one of our bed bug removal services. We understand this is an especially stressful pest to have in your home and we want to help. Get in touch with us today so we can confirm the presence of bed bugs, take care of it, and get you back to your life. No matter the number of bed bugs, we’ll help you discreetly get rid of them for good so you can get back to the important things in your life.
