Every summer in the June time frame, Japanese beetles become active in our services area and cause significant damage to ornamental plants like rose bushes. Fortunately there is a proactive option that be completed in the Spring to keep you a step ahead of Japanese Beetles this summer.
For our existing or new Insectashield clients we offer a systemic service option that we apply in the February to early April time frame. This product is soaked up by the treated plants roots and the active ingredient is then available in the plants leaves and stems. When a Japanese Beetle takes a bite of a leaf, it kills it and prevents further damage. So regardless of when Japanese Beetles become active this year, you will be prepared and Japanese Beetles will not ruin your landscaping.
